Hi Chuck. My name is Barry Bettis. I met you at the Christian Action Guild just before Christmas. I volunteer there and helped you unload all of the Christmas trees you donated. I am the cochair of the Stamp Out Hunger campaign being put on by the Golden Post Office benefiting the Action Guild food pantry. It is an annual event the post office does to help local food pantries in cities. It is going to be held on Saturday May 14th. The postal carriers distribute empty bags to all the households in Golden in advance. On the 14th the carriers bring the food to the Post Office on Johnson Rd. From there we’re assembling a team of volunteers to bring it to the CAG to be sorted and put on the shelves to be distributed to our community. We were wondering if we could possibly get some news out about our efforts and possibly getting some volunteers to help us out. We really appreciated your help with your Christmas tree giveaway and were wondering if we could discuss this with you further. Thanks for your time and your consideration. Barry Bettis 303-913-6589. bb80403@aol.com. Love your radio station and music and your care for our great city! AA
