Only listen to 96.9 the Cloud if you’re comfortable forming a new healthy habit.
We are a family owned Soft Rock Hits Radio Station broadcasting high atop Look Out Mountain (over 7000 feet) from Golden, Colorado featuring local podcasts about the community we serve.
This user guide will allow you to find out more about how to advertise in the Cloud.
Here are some Frequently Asked Questions about advertising in the Cloud.
Is the Cloud only online?
No, we’re an actual FM radio station!
96.9 the Cloud broadcasts with the highest quality FM stereo transmission technology available from Apple Music’s new Dolby Atmos.
The Cloud is heard 24/7 on 96.9 FM Radio in the dark green shaded areas of Boulder, Golden, Applewood, Wheat Ridge, Old Town Arvada and Lakewood.
How much does it cost to advertise in the Cloud?
The Cloud has developed a very simple and affordable way for small business and local non-profits to advertise daily in the Cloud.
Our 2022 base ad program remains a remarkable media value.
This program is only $1250.00 quarterly (billed in advance via Square) for (3) three fully produced daily radio ads by our remarkable stable of voice-over artists and copy-writers from all over the country.
New to the Cloud are single spot ad rates beginning at $35.00 per :30/60 second units for special events, flighted ad schedules and for the use of advertising agencies.
All of the Cloud Radio Programs also includes use of our digital “click-through” assets online and stream.
However, our most popular ad program features ten (10) scheduled ads daily, a monthly Cloud Podcast from your business, a feature online and ad signage on The Cloud Beetle.
This program requires an annual investment of $20,000 and is also billed quarterly via Square.
Why is the Cloud so affordably priced?
Our affordability is a product of the cloud technology we developed to deliver a superior product at a minimal cost and we pass that savings onto our over 100 daily advertisers.
All our resources go into expanding our technology, audience coverage area and the content you hear in every ad and special feature in the Cloud (because of the nature of our business model we are not able to extend any refunds of any kind).
How many listeners does the Cloud have?
The radio station reaches over 600,000 listeners every week online and over the air in our coverage area of Jefferson and Boulder County, Colorado.
What is the Cloud’s target demographic?
Our primary audience is Adults over the age of 40.
The Cloud has evolved into a unique Soft Rock music variety mix combining both new music discoveries with alternative and classic hits from the late 1960’s all the way up to today.
How many users listen to the Cloud online?
The Cloud stream is enjoyed by over 1000 streamers every hour.
In fact, over 80 percent of our streaming audience lives in Denver County and the most listened to hours are throughout the work-day well into the evening.
The Cloud is available from our mobile app, TuneIn, Sonos, Google Play, Apple Music and Alexa.
This is a tremendous value benefit for the Cloud’s geo-fenced ad partner “click-through” digital assets from our main player.
Does the Cloud Podcast?
Yes, the Cloud podcasts air daily and live on-demand. These features have become one of our most popular assets to showcase a small business and non-profits.

I’ve been building successful radio brands here in Colorado, The Northern California Coast and The Eastern Seaboard since 1976 with one simple credo: make radio obvious, attractive, easy and satisfying.
The world is no longer just business as usual, but better business with a partner you can trust.

I’m so glad to be able to stream 96.9 and Mike Casey from my home in Manitouwadge, Ontario, Canada. I have always been a fan of Mike Casey. You see, I have known him since he became one of my brother’s best friends around the tender age of 9 or 10.
Now that I do volunteer work out of my home, I can stream 96.9 all the time and hear Mike and remember the great times we had when he would be hanging out our home.
What a wonderful addition to your station. Thank you for giving me a place to go and enjoy the classics being played by such a wonderful young man.
