On December 30th, 2021 multiple fires broke out across Boulder County.

Over 35,000 Families have been evacuated and it is clear multiple homes and businesses will be impacted for a very long time.

The Community Foundation Boulder County, in partnership with Government and nonprofit organizations will work to support the needs of the community as they emerge.

According to The Community Foundations Sara Carrasco-Wyant (Philanthropic Services Associate), “It has been a particularly difficult 24 hours for our community, and we have been humbled by the global outpouring of support”.

Sara added, “This support has overwhelmed our website, so we have worked with our partners at Colorado Gives to create a new Boulder County Wildfire Fund Page”.

The National Guard has been deployed to maintain order as crews from fire, police and utilities work through this crisis.
