Mikes Beatle podcast is a playful one.

Most of us know all about the most famous four bandmates called the Beatles. What you might not know is the story behind a simple classic penned and inspired by Ringo Starr.

This months featured Cloud Classic is from the Beatles last studio album. Abbey Road was recorded mostly in 1969, but was not released until 1970.

Within the masterworks of Here Comes the Sun, Come Together and Something (perhaps the most moving love song ever recorded) is Octopus Garden.

At less than 3 minutes the songs inspiration is as playful as the lyric itself.

I enjoyed listening to Mike Casey’in the mornings for over a decade. He provides interesting facts about the music and an intelligent point of view on current events. Is Mike a radio host? Lately, I’ve been listening to commercial free music, but I’m open to listening to radio with Mike Casey.

I just happened to run across this station, 96.9 Cloud Classics, recently and now can’t bring myself to move the dial to anything else. Classics yes, of course, but not the same old stuff you always hear. I love the music!

I’m so glad to be able to stream 96.9 and Mike Casey from my home in Manitouwadge, Ontario, Canada. I have always been a fan of Mike Casey. You see, I have known him since he became one of my brother’s best friends around the tender age of 9 or 10.
Now that I do volunteer work out of my home, I can stream 96.9 all the time and hear Mike and remember the great times we had when he would be hanging out our home.
What a wonderful addition to your station. Thank you for giving me a place to go and enjoy the classics being played by such a wonderful young man.
